DAMON Q

A major step forward in low-friction, passive self-ligation technology.

When can a bracket be considered to be more than a normal product development? When it opens new doors to practice efficiency, clinical flexibility, patient comfort and aesthetics. The metal Damon Q is a major step forward in low-friction, passive self-ligation technology that delivers far more than straight teeth.

More than a development

  • Low profile and small size optimize slot depth to give a meticulous finish. The slide incorporates Innovative SpinTek™ technology with chamfered design to facilitate archwire engagement. Supplied with high-precision positioning gauges and dual slots for auxiliary wires for new treatment applications.
  • Whether you are starting to use self-ligation or are already an expert user, Damon Q will provide more controlled dental movement and bring outstanding clinical results.

Quintessential performance and reliability

  • Four solid walls with optimized slot depths — including tighter tolerances on lower anterior brackets — offer improved rotation control and fast, low-friction tooth movement for superior finishing.
  • Stainless steel 17-4 metal-injection-molded construction provides exceptional strength and durability over the course of treatment.

Spectacular improvement in efficiency

  • Horizontal and vertical slots provide greater versatility for treatment involving high cuspids, blocked-out laterals, and more.
  • Drop-in hooks, piggyback wires or TAD auxiliaries — all while progressing through the Damon archwire sequence regardless of round or rectangular wires.
  • The positioning gauge, rhomboid-shaped bracket and pad, and vertical scribe line guide precision bracket placement for smile arc enhancement.
  • All positioning gauges are colour-coded to aid in bracket selection and torque value identification: Green for low torque, Blue for standard torque, red for super torque.

Quick and easy wire changes

  • Innovative SpinTek slide with chamfered lingual leading edge facilitates easy slide closure and wire engagement throughout all phases of treatment.
  • SpinTek slide requires only a slight twist to open, transferring reciprocal forces to the bracket — not the tooth — for faster wire changes and greater patient comfort.

Comfort and aesthetics

  • Small bracket profile and size with smooth, rounded corners help prevent occlusal interference while offering patients greater comfort and aesthetics.
